§ 93.21 PUBLIC POLICY; REIMBURSEMENT AND EXPENDITURES.
   (A)   It is the intent of the city, by establishing this program, to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of its public safety services by minimizing property damage and efficiently deploying available resources. It is the policy of the city not to reimburse any owner of real property the cost of damages that may occur through forced entry of structures whenever probable cause is evident or damages for building and personal property losses due to fire, explosion, water, and similar type perils.
   (B)   The city may pursue the collection of any and all overtime expenditures incurred by city departments in instances of emergency response where avoidable costs are directly related to the absence of adequate and timely building access via the city's Knox Box - Rapid Entry System or via personal representatives of the owners of the property.
