All revenue derived from the imposition and collection of occupational license taxes shall be earmarked to the city's General Fund budget for the operation of city government. Furthermore, 20% of all occupational license tax revenue collected (or .25% of the 1.25% tax rate) shall be transferred from the General Fund to the CBD Revitalization Fund and generally appropriated and utilized for efforts to revitalize and improve business districts and designated areas throughout the city as determined by the Board of Council.
