Sec. 1-5. Severability of parts of Code.
   If any part of this Code or the application thereof to any person or circumstance shall be found to be invalid by any court, such invalidity shall not affect the remaining parts or applications of this Code which can be given effect without the invalid part or application; provided, that such remaining parts are not determined by the court to be inoperable, and to this end this Code is declared to be severable.
