(A) The Town Manager, upon the holder thereof executing a bond in accordance with I.C. 36-5-5-5 and I.C. 5-4-1, shall assume the duties set forth in I.C. 36-5-5-8 or any subsequent provision establishing forth the duties of a Town Manager.

(B) The duties and responsibilities conferred upon the Town Manager in his or her function as office shall nevertheless be subject to the written orders, resolutions and ordinances of the Town Council issued from time to time concerning the Town Manager’s authority, duties and responsibilities.
