§ 111.21 BADGE AND VEHICLE SIGN; DISPLAY.
   (A)   (1)   When any license is issued pursuant to this subchapter, the person to whom the license is issued shall be supplied by the Clerk-Treasurer, without additional charge, with a badge stamped or marked “Licensed Peddler” and it shall be numbered.
      (2)   The dates which the license is valid for shall be so indicated on the badge.
      (3)   The peddler shall keep the badge plainly displayed on the outside of his or her coat or clothes when engaged in peddling and shall surrender it on the expiration of the license.
   (B)   (1)   Every person licensed to hawk or peddle with a vehicle or handcart shall be supplied by the Clerk-Treasurer, without additional charge, with a substantial magnetic sign bearing the name “Licensed Peddler” in letters not less than 3-1/2 inches in height and numbered.
      (2)   This sign shall be conspicuously attached and fastened to the vehicle so as to be plainly visible by all persons doing business with the peddler.
      (3)   The magnetic sign shall remain the property of the town and be returned by the peddler when the license expires.
