A law enforcement officer who finds or is notified of a vehicle, or parts of a vehicle, within the jurisdictional limits of the town believed to be abandoned shall post a notice on the vehicle stating:
(A) Time and date, officer's name, public agency, and the address and telephone number to contact for further information;
(B) Notice that the vehicle or parts thereof will be removed after 72 hours.
(C) Notice that the person who owns the vehicle will be held responsible for the costs incidental to the removal, storage, and disposal of the vehicle.
(D) Notice that the vehicle or parts are considered abandoned.
(E) Notice that the person who owns the vehicle may avoid costs by removing the vehicle or parts within 72 hours.
