It shall be unlawful for any person, firm or corporation to house, keep or harbor cattle, sheep, hogs or any fowl within the corporate limits of the town.

(A) It shall be unlawful for any person knowingly to keep or harbor any dog or other type domestic animal which habitually barks, howls, yelps, cries or makes any other type noise to the great discomfort of the peace and quiet of the neighborhood, or in a manner so as to materially disturb or annoy persons in the neighborhood who are of ordinary sensibilities.
(B) These dogs and other type of animals are declared to be a public nuisance.

It is unlawful for the owner or keeper of a dog or other domestic animal to permit the dog or animal to roam the streets, alleys or other public places of the town unless under the personal control and custody of the owner, or some individual authorized to be in charge by the owner, secured by a leash or reins or a dog or domestic animal trained to respond to voice command and reasonably expected to obey voice command.

(A) The Town Marshal or any deputy thereof is authorized to seize, hold for impounding or destroy any unlicensed, vicious or stray dog, and any vicious or stray domestic animal, if the dog or animal is found in any public place in the town or upon any premises other than those occupied or owned by the owner of the dog.
(B) This authority includes, but is not limited to the authority to use tranquilizer guns or where appropriate lethal weapons.
