For the purpose of this subchapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
NOXIOUS WEEDS. Includes the following NOXIOUS WEEDS: Canada thistle, Johnson grass and Sorghum album, Bur cucumber, Shattercane, Poison ivy, Poison sumac, Poison oak, Quackgrass, Carolina horsenettle, Cocklebur, Wild mustard, Jimson, Burdock, Ragweed, Thistle, and Indian or Wild Hemp.
RANK VEGETATION. Any plant exceeding 6 inches in height. Trees, shrubberies, flowers, ornamental grasses, and agricultural crops exceeding 6 inches are not to be considered RANK VEGETATION unless they constitute an extreme deviation from the aesthetic appearance of the real estate within the Town of Fremont.
WETLANDS. A swampy or marshy area and include the areas immediately surrounding ponds, riverbeds, and streams.
WOODED AREAS. An area densely covered with trees and shrubs.
