A City Planning Commission is hereby established in accordance with, and under the supervision of, Ohio R.C. 713.01 et seq.

The City Planning Commission shall consist of five members, as follows: the Mayor, the Safety-Service Director and three citizens of the Municipality who shall serve without compensation and who shall be appointed by the Mayor for a term of six years, except that the term of one of the members of the first Commission shall be for four years and one for two years. The terms of the appointive members and their tenure shall be at the pleasure of the Mayor. Vacancies among appointive members shall be filled by the Mayor for the unexpired term.
