(b) The Safety-Service Director reserves the option to sub-contract the mowing, removal, and disposal to private contractors if he so chooses and the owner of the property shall be responsible for reimbursing the City based upon the fee scale below. The aforementioned fees shall run from January 1st to December 31st of each calendar year.
(c) If the work is performed by the City of Fremont or its designee, the City shall charge for the first offense a fine of one hundred fifty dollars ($150.00), a second offense, a fine of one hundred seventy-five dollars ($175.00), and for every subsequent offense, a fine of two hundred fifty dollars ($250.00). In addition to the aforementioned fines, the City shall also assess a fee necessary to complete the work and any other costs associated with the cleanup.
The Safety-Service Director may charge for any repairs or damages to City equipment.
