For the purpose of this chapter, the following definitions apply:
(a) "Sewerage system" means and includes sewers, pumping stations, sewage treatment works and any and all appurtenances common to such systems.
(b) "Sewage" means the waste from water closets, urinals, lavartories, sinks, bathtubs, showers, household laundries, cellar floor drains, bars, soda fountains, cuspidors, refrigerator drips, drinking fountains and stable floor drains.
(c) "Industrial wastes" means the liquid wastes resulting from any commercial manufacturing or industrial operations or processes.
