As used in this chapter:
(a) "Street", "boulevard", "avenue" and "alley" mean that land lying between private lot lines and dedicated for public use.
(b) "Sidewalk" means any areas paved with stone, concrete, flagging, brick or other permanent material and which are used by the public for pedestrian traffic.
(c) "Street curb" means any material such as concrete, sandstone or block, which is used in street construction to form a gutter for drainage purposes and denotes a public way for vehicular travel.
