§ 122.10  STANDARDS FOR DRIVERS AND ATTENDANTS.
   The following requirements are hereby established as the minimum for number of personnel required on each ambulance and as the minimums for training and certification:
   (A)   At least two personnel, one driver, and one attendant, shall operate every ambulance within the city.
   (B)   Each ambulance attendant shall also meet the following minimum requirements for training and certification:
      (1)   Have completed and be currently certified in a basic first aid course sponsored by the American Red Cross.
      (2)   Have completed and be currently certified in a basic cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) course sponsored by the American Red Cross or the American Heart Association.
      (3)   Have completed an eight-hour ambulance orientation course approved by the emer- gency director at Community Hospital.
      (4)   Have completed and be currently certified as an emergency care attendant (ECA) or greater as approved and recognized by the Texas Department of Health Resources.
   (C)   A driver of any ambulance within the city shall hold a currently valid chauffeur's license issued by the State Department of Public Safety.
