(A) Width. No driveway shall have a width measured along the boundary line between the public right-of-way and the private property of more than 35 feet; provided however, upon a request for a variance from the provisions of this division (A), such driveway shall not be in excess of 45 feet in width.

(B) Sidewalk section required. Every driveway shall be designed and constructed so as to provide a sidewalk section. This section shall usually extend five feet from the property line and have a slope of ¼ of an inch per foot. From the outside edge of this sidewalk section, the slope shall be continuous to the proper or existing gutter grade.

(C) Curb return. The curb return on all driveways shall have a radius of not less than three feet to the back of the curb; and the point where the return falls tangent to the street curb shall be within the property lines extended perpendicular to the street right-of-way line of the property which the driveway is designed to service. At street intersections, the point where the return falls tangent to the street curb shall be a minimum of ten feet inside the property line extended as above, and at interior property lines the point where the return falls tangent to the street curb shall be a minimum of 2½ feet inside the property line extended as above.

(D) More than one entrance. Where more than one entrance along one side of a private property is required, such entrance shall be separated by a divide or island at least ten feet in length. The width and radii for such divides or islands shall be governed by regulations set forth in other divisions in this section, with a minimum width of four feet.

(E) One-fourth inch per foot fall required. Sidewalks shall be constructed at an elevation so as to provide for a minimum of ¼-inch per foot fall from the property line to the top of the curb.

(F) Ramp section. Where a ramp section of the driveway is to be constructed, the ramp shall reach the grade of the sidewalk at a distance of not less than five feet from the outside edge of the street curbline.
