§ 91.80  BACTERIAL CONTENT.
   The bacterial content of any public swimming pool water shall be maintained so that not more than 10% of a sample covering any considerable period of time shall exceed 100 bacteria per cubic centimeter when incubated on agar or litmus at 37° C. for 24 hours; and not more than two out of five consecutive samples collected on different dates shall show a positive test of ten cubic centimeters of water of B. coli.  A residual of from 2/10 to 5/10 part per million of chlorine shall be maintained in public swimming pool waters at all times while the same are in use.
