1410.01 DEFINITIONS.
   The following terms shall have the meanings ascribed to them in this section whenever used in these Codified Ordinances.
   (a)   “Building and Housing Code,” as used herein, shall refer to the cumulative provisions of this Part Fourteen, and shall be deemed to specifically include:
      (1)   The version of the International Building Code as adopted in Chapter 1420, subject to any amendments or changes set forth in said Chapter 1420;
      (2)   The version of the International Plumbing Code as adopted in Chapter 1422, subject to any amendments or changes set forth in said Chapter 1422;
      (3)   The version of the National Electrical Code as adopted in Chapter 1424, subject to any amendments or changes set forth in said Chapter 1424;
      (4)   The version of the International Energy Conservation Code as adopted in Chapter 1425, subject to any amendments or changes set forth in said Chapter 1425;
      (5)   The version of the International Mechanical Code as adopted in Chapter 1426, subject to any amendments or changes set forth in said Chapter 1426;
      (6)   The version of the International Fuel Gas Code as adopted in Chapter 1427, subject to any amendments or changes set forth in said Chapter 1427;
      (7)   The provisions of the Illinois Boiler and Pressure Vessel and Safety Act and related regulations as adopted in Chapter 1428;
      (8)   The version of the International Existing Building Code as adopted in Chapter 1429, subject to any amendments or changes set forth in said Chapter 1429;
      (9)   The version of the International Property Maintenance Code as adopted in Chapter 1480, subject to any amendments or changes set forth in said Chapter 1480; and
      (10)   The version of the International Residential Code as adopted in Chapter 1482, subject to any amendments or changes set forth in said Chapter 1482.
   (b)   “Reference to individual codes” means any reference to an individual code, such as, without limitation, the International Building Code, International Mechanical Code, etc., shall be deemed to refer to the version of the referenced code which has been adopted by the City pursuant to this Building and Housing Code, and subject to any amendments or modifications thereto set forth in the relevant chapter or chapters hereof.
