Unless a shorter parking time limit is applicable as specified in this chapter, no person shall park a vehicle on any street for longer than twenty-four consecutive hours. Notwithstanding the foregoing, residents in the Central Business District may park on streets within the Central Business District for longer than twenty-four consecutive hours however such residents must still comply with any applicable shorter parking time limits set forth in this chapter, including, but not limited to Sections 480.09(b) regarding street cleaning. Section 486.03(a)(1) regarding snow events and Section 480.20 regarding two-hour parking. Central Business Districts residents will be issued at City Hall, for a cost of ten dollars ($10.00), a placard to be hung in the car window when parking on streets within the Central Business District.
