422.03 PRIORITY IN CONTROL METHODS.

   In all instances a traffic control device at a specific location takes precedence over the provisions of this chapter, and specific directions by an authorized person take precedence over a traffic control device and the provisions of this chapter. However, traffic control devices do not take precedence over the following provisions of the Illinois Vehicle Code, as adopted in Section 420.01, or of these Codified Ordinances:
