For the purpose of prescribing regulations governing life safety from fire and similar emergencies, that certain document marked and designated as the NFPA 101 Life Safety Code, 2012 edition, is hereby adopted, with the exception of Chapter 9, Section 9.7.1 entitled “Automatic Sprinklers,” subsection Section 9.7.1.1, and Chapter 24, Section 24.3.5 entitled “Extinguishment Requirements.”, subsection 24.3.5.1 which are hereby specifically not adopted, and any prior versions in effect, if any, of same which are specifically repealed at this time.
