1484.09 ACTION BY COUNCIL.
   The Planning Commission shall report its hearing and the action taken thereon to Council within thirty days of the hearing. Council shall accept or reject the plat and declaration, or supplemental or subsequent documents, as the case may be, within sixty days after its next regular meeting following the receipt of the report of the Planning Commission. A majority vote of all Alderpersons shall be required for acceptance of a plat and declaration or acceptance of any supplemental or subsequent documents, as the case may be, provided that if the recommendation and report of the Planning Commission recommends rejection of any plat, declaration or any supplemental or subsequent documents, as the case may be, or if a written protest against the plat, declaration or any supplemental or subsequent documents, as the case may be, has been signed, acknowledged and filed with the City Clerk by the owners, collectively, of twenty percent of the frontage immediately adjoining the real estate described in the plat or across an alley, street creek or river therefrom, and the frontage directly opposite the real estate described in such plat, the vote required for adoption of any ordinance accepting any such plat and declaration or any supplemental or subsequent documents, as the case may be, shall be six Alderpersons.
