1468.28 SIGNS PERMITTED IN MANUFACTURING DISTRICTS.
   All signs and nameplates permitted in Business Districts shall be permitted in Manufacturing Districts and shall be governed as follows:
   (a)   The gross area in square feet of all signs on a zoning lot shall not exceed six times the linear feet of frontage of such zoning lot, provided that the gross area of flashing signs shall not exceed three times the linear feet of frontage of such lot.
   (b)   No ground-mounted sign shall be more than forty-five feet in height above the finished grade beneath it. No roof-mounted sign shall project higher than twenty-five feet above the level of the roof at the base of the sign.
   (c)   No advertising sign shall be located within 500 feet of any public park of more than five acres in area, or within 500 feet of any freeways, expressways and tollroads designated as such in the records of the governing authorities.
   (d)   No advertising sign shall be located within seventy-five feet of any property located in a Residence District.
