Containers shall be placed at or near the curb (or as close to the roadway as practicable without interfering with or endangering the movement of vehicles or pedestrians) in front of each dwelling unit where they can be seen from the street or road on scheduled pick-up days. Doorstep placement for collection shall be at the front or back door, adjacent to the residential dwelling unit so as to be immediately accessible to waste collection vehicles. Containers may be placed by the curb or roadside no earlier than after dusk or 8:00 p.m., whichever is later, on the day prior to the scheduled residential waste collection. Containers must be returned to their dwelling or out of public view by 6:00 p.m. on the day of collection.
