1024.12 USE OF REMOVED MATERIAL.

Where an excavation is made to extend a main, the material removed may be used for backfilling, instead of sand or other granular material, if such material is, in the opinion of the Public Works Director, suitable for backfilling. Such material shall be jetted down with water to the maximum compaction, and all other provisions of this chapter shall be satisfied.
