1024.09 BITUMINOUS ASPHALT SURFACES (SEAL COAT).

Where the surface is seal coated, the excavation must be backfilled with sand or other granular material to a point ten inches below the surface. The remainder of the excavation shall be backfilled with eight inches of gravel and two inches of compacted bituminous asphalt treated material.
