The following types of dances shall be exempt from the provisions of this chapter: Dances sponsored by accredited educational institutions and held under the direct supervision of school authorities, or dances sponsored by bona fide nonprofit organizations, which limit admissions to members and guests and which use revenue accruing from admissions exclusively for the benevolent purposes of said organization.
