As used in this chapter:
(a) "Auctioneer" means any person who engages in the conduct of an auction sale or crying of property, including his or her own, at auction, except when acting by virtue of legal process.
(b) "Legal process" means any writ, process or order of any kind issued out of any court.
(c) "Property" means personal and real property of every kind, except where a different meaning is specified.
