262.03 PROMULGATION OF RULES AND REGULATIONS; CONFLICTS; AUTHORITY.

The Board of Fire and Police Commissioners shall not make or publish any rules or regulations which conflict with any of the provisions of these Codified Ordinances. In the event of any such conflict, the provisions of these Codified Ordinances, as amended from time to time, will control.
