242.49 AUTHORITY OF CHIEF OR COMMANDING OFFICERS OVER CIVILIANS PRESENT AT FIRES.

Every person present at a fire shall be subject to the orders of the Fire Chief, or officer in command, in the extinguishing of a fire and in the removal and protection of property.
