For a violation of this chapter, any one or more of the following penalties may be assessed:
(a) A written or verbal reprimand administered by the Police Chief, the Deputy Chief or the officer in charge.
(b) Suspension without pay for a period not exceeding five days, administered by the Police Chief, or the Deputy Chief in command, or for a period not exceeding thirty days, administered by the Board of Police and Fire Commissioners.
(c) Demotion in rank.
(d) Discharge from the Department and the service of the City.
