240.18 REPORTING OF VIOLATIONS.

A superior officer is required to report any violation by a member of his or her command and is responsible for discipline in his or her command. Copies of such reports shall be transmitted within forty-eight hours to the Chief of Police. The Chief shall forward his or her written recommendations to the Board and shall inform the City Manager of such action.
