240.15 OATH AND BOND.
   Each person appointed to office or membership in the Police Department, before entering upon his or her duties, shall take the required oath of office and shall enter into and file a bond, with security to be approved by the City, payable to the City, for the penal sum of two hundred dollars ($200.00), conditioned upon the faithful performance of such officer's or member's office, the payment of all moneys received by such officer or member, according to law and these Codified Ordinances, and the delivery of all property in such officer's member's custody belonging to the City at the expiration of his or her employment with the City.
