240.06 LIEUTENANT.

A Lieutenant will be assigned his or her duties by the Chief of Police and work under the command of the Chief of Police and Deputy Chiefs of Police and, in the absence of the Deputy Chief, shall be in command of his or her assigned area and shall have the authority of the Deputy Chief of Police.
