(a) The Mayor shall receive as salary the sum of twenty-seven thousand nine hundred and fifteen dollars ($27,915) from May 1, 2020 through April 30, 2021; beginning with the next term of office, the Mayor shall receive twenty-eight thousand and one hundred ninety-five dollars ($28,195) from May 15, 2021 through April 30, 2022; twenty-eight thousand four hundred and seventy-five dollars ($28,475) from May 1, 2022 through April 30, 2023; twenty-eight thousand seven hundred and sixty dollars ($28,760) from May 1, 2023 through April 30, 2024; and twenty- nine thousand fifty dollars ($29,050) from May 1, 2024 through April 30, 2025, per year, payable every two weeks.
(b) During the time period of May 1, 2021 through the swearing in of the newly elected Mayor on or about May 17, 2021, the Mayor shall receive as salary the sum of one thousand seventy-three and 65/100 dollars ($1,073.65).
