(a) Location. The City is located in Stephenson County, Illinois, and specifically embraces, within its corporate limits, Section 36, Township 27 North, Range 7 East of the Fourth Principal Meridian and Section 31, Township 27 North, Range 8 East of the Fourth Principal Meridian, plus such portions of Sections 25, 26, 34 and 35 in Township 27 North, Range 7 East of the Fourth Principal Meridian, Sections 1, 2, 11 and 12 in Township 26 North, Range 7 East of the Fourth Principal Meridian, Sections 4, 5, 6, 7 and 18 in Township 26 North, Range 8 East of the Fourth Principal Meridian and Sections 28, 29, 30 and 33 in Township 27 North, Range 8 East of the Fourth Principal Meridian, as have heretofore been, or may hereafter be, incorporated in, or annexed to, the City by virtue of any ordinance of annexation or incorporation of the City, or by virtue of any statute of the State.
(b) Corporate Limits. The corporate limits of the City shall consist of the outer or surrounding boundary of all land upon which the City is now or hereafter shall be located, as more specifically described in subsection (a) hereof.
(c) Automatic Extension of Limits. The corporate limits or boundary shall be automatically extended to include all land or territory hereafter annexed to the City.
(d) Certified Copy Filed. A copy of this section has been filed with the Recorder of Deeds of Stephenson County, Illinois.
