204.01 POWERS GRANTED BY STATE.

(a) The City, acting through Council and its elected and appointed officers, shall have all powers and rights provided for it, now or hereafter, by the Illinois Municipal Code, by any other statute of the State or by the Constitution of the State.

(b) All of such pertinent and applicable powers and enabling enactments of the Illinois Municipal Code, of the Illinois Compiled Statutes and of the Constitution of the State are hereby incorporated herein by reference and made a part of these Codified Ordinances.
