§ 93.03 CEMETERY MANAGER, SEXTANT.
   (A)   The Director of Public Works for the town shall serve as the Cemetery Manager. The duties associated with the position of the Cemetery Manager shall be considered part of the required duties of the Director of Public Works.
   (B)   The care, maintenance and improvement of the cemetery shall be the responsibility of the Cemetery Manager, subject to the general control and management of the Town Council. He/she shall have charge and authority over the same and all persons therein, including the responsibility for supervision of employees engaged to carry out the aforementioned responsibilities.
   (C)   All interments and disinterments shall be conducted under the supervision of the Cemetery Manager or his/her designate. The Cemetery Manager or his/her designate shall be in attendance at each interment or disinterment; and the Cemetery Manager or his/her designate shall further be responsible for every opening and closing of a grave.
   (D)   The Cemetery Manager shall enforce this chapter and any related policies or regulations adopted by the Town Council. He/she may take such action as is necessary, even if not set forth herein, in order to protect the cemetery from injury, the property of lot owners and to preserve the peace, economy and good order of the cemetery.
