(A) All monuments shall be marked or tagged according to the type and at locations as required and approved by the Public Works Director.
(B) The final plat shall show clearly all stakes, monuments or other evidence found on the ground which were used as ties to determine the boundaries of the tract. The corners of adjoining subdivisions or portions thereof shall be identified and ties shown.
(C) (1) In making the survey for the subdivision, the surveyor shall set sufficient, permanent monuments so that the survey or any part thereof may be readily retraced.
(2) The monuments shall generally be placed at the angle points and at curve tangent points on the exterior boundary lines of the tract, at the intersection of center lines of streets, at the beginnings and ends of curves on the center lines of streets and at all lot corners.
(3) The size, type and depth of monuments shall be in accord with town standards.
(4) The character, type and position of all monuments shall be noted on the final plat.
(D) Monuments shall be subject to inspection by the Building Inspector or Public Works Director.
(E) All lot corners shall be set prior to approval of the final plat.
