§ 94.060 DEFINITIONS.
   For the purpose of this subchapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
   KENNEL. Any establishment at which dogs and cats are bred or raised for sale, boarded or cared for, commercially or on a non-profit basis, exclusive of dental, medical or surgical care or for quarantine purposes.
   PET SHOP. Any establishment where animals or birds generally considered household pets are kept for sale commercially or on a non-profit basis.
   VETERINARY CLINIC. Any establishment operated by a licensed veterinarian to provide dental, medical or surgical treatment and care, including grooming, for animals or birds on an out-patient basis.
   VETERINARY HOSPITAL. Any establishment operated by a licensed veterinarian providing clinical facilities and housing for animals or birds for dental, medical or surgical treatment. A VETERINARY HOSPITAL may have adjacent to it, either in conjunction with it or as an integral part of it, pens, stalls, cages or kennels for quarantine, observation or boarding.
