§ 1-7-41. GENERAL REQUIREMENTS.
   (A)   All electrical equipment and installations thereof shall be reasonably safe to persons and property and in conformity with the provisions of this article.
   (B)   Except as otherwise provided in this article, conformity of installations of electrical equipment with the regulations set forth in the National Electrical Code, 2023 Edition, published by the National Fire Protection Association, shall be prima facie evidence that such installations are reasonably safe to persons and property, and said National Electrical Code is hereby adopted and incorporated by reference in this chapter.
   (C)   Except as otherwise provided in this article, conformity of electrical equipment with the applicable standards of a nationally recognized testing agency shall be prima facie evidence that such equipment is reasonably safe to persons and property.
