§ 2-11-10. Removal of snowdrifts by county.
   Upon application or petition in writing of a majority of the residents living along any public road or portion of a public road in the county, including only such residents who have no outlet to any other public road, the board of county commissioners shall remove or cause to be removed such snowdrifts as may render such road or portion of road impassable for several days; provided, that the county commissioners shall not be required to pay more than sixty (60) percent of the cost of removing such snowdrifts. Nothing in this section shall prevent the board of county commissioners from removing or causing to be removed snowdrifts from any public road without application or petition of such residents.
