§ 2-2-20. Attorney.
   The board of county commissioners is hereby authorized and empowered to appoint an attorney to the board of county commissioners, who shall receive as compensation for the professional services rendered by him as such attorney a sum determined by the board; such sum shall be paid as salary in lieu of all fees and other compensation for services rendered the board.
