4-4-2: DEFINITIONS:
BIOFUEL BURNER: A device, structure, or apparatus, which supplies direct or indirect heat from the burning of solid fuel, including, but not limited to, wood, corn, biomass pellets and other solid biofuels, to a building. Traditional woodburning stoves and fireplaces are exempted from this chapter.
STACKS OR CHIMNEYS: Any vertical structure enclosing a flue or flues that carry off smoke or exhaust from a biofuel burner. (Ord. 141, 12-15-2008)
