Any person convicted of violating any provision of this chapter is guilty of a misdemeanor for each day the violation exists and shall be punished by a fine not to exceed one thousand dollars ($1,000.00) or imprisonment for not more than ninety (90) days, or both, plus the costs of prosecution in either case.
