The city council shall cause to be installed and placed the appropriate stop signs or signals for drivers of motor vehicles to stop before crossing the streets and highways in the city. Any person failing to stop at said stop sign or signal shall be punishable as provided in section 1-4A-1 of this code. (Ord. 59, 10-1-1934; amd. 2008 Code)
