5-1-4: DUTIES:
Members of the police department shall enforce the ordinances and laws applicable to the city, prevent crimes, protect lives and property, maintain the peace, serve process on behalf of the city, and have such additional powers and duties as are prescribed by law, by this code and as the city council may determine.
