§ 51.151 SEWER EXTENSION BY PUBLIC CONTRACT.
   (A)   Sewer extensions may be constructed by the village under public contract if, in the opinion of the Village Board, the number of properties to be served by the extension warrants its cost. Under this arrangement the property owner shall pay for and install the building sewer from the public sewer to his or her residence or place of business in accordance with the requirements of §§ 51.050 through 51.063 above.
   (B)   Property owners may propose sewer extensions within the incorporated village by drafting a written petition, signed by a majority of the benefitting property owners, and filing it with the Village Board. The cost of the extensions may be assessed to the benefitted property owners in any manner determined by the Village Board.
