(A) All extensions to the sanitary sewer system owned and maintained by the village shall be properly designed in accordance with the Standards for Waste Treatment Works, Municipal Sewerage Facilities as published by the NYSDEC. Plans and specifications for sewer extensions shall be submitted to, and approved by, the Superintendent and the NYSDEC before construction may proceed.
(B) The design of sewers must anticipate and allow for flows from all possible future extensions or developments within the immediate drainage area.
