§ 52.082 ADMINISTRATIVE OR COMPLIANCE ORDER.
   When the Superintendent finds that a person has violated or continues to violate this chapter or a permit or order issued hereunder, he may issue an order to such person responsible for the violation directing that, following a specified time period, water service shall be discontinued unless the violation is corrected and that there is no reoccurrence of the violation. Orders may also contain such other requirements as might be reasonably necessary and appropriate to address the noncompliance, including the installation of pretreatment technology, additional self- monitoring, and management practices.
Such person may, within 15 days of receipt of such order, petition the Superintendent to modify or suspend the order. Such petition shall be in written form and shall be transmitted to the Superintendent by registered mail. The Superintendent may;
   (A)   Reject any frivolous petitions;
   (B)   Modify or suspend the order;
   (C)   Request additional information from such person; or
   (D)   Order the petitioner to show cause in accordance with § 52.084.
