(A) This local law is enacted pursuant to the authority of N.Y. Gen. Mun. Law Art. 9-A, and shall be known as the Games of Chance Law of the village.

(B) (1) The words and terms used in this chapter shall have the same meaning as such words and terms are used in N.Y. Gen. Mun. Law Art. 9-A, unless otherwise provided herein or unless the context requires a different meaning.
(2) For the purpose of this chapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
OFFICER. The Chief of Police of the village.
VILLAGE. The Village of Franklinville.
