All hawking, peddling, vending or soliciting, except the peddling of meats, fish, fruit or farm produce by farmers and persons who produce those commodities or an honorably discharged soldier, sailor or marine, who is, crippled as a result of injury received while in the naval or military service of the United States, or the holder of a license granted pursuant to N.Y. Gen. Bus. Law § 32, is prohibited.
